Cover-All – Providing Effective Golf Cart Storage Solutions
The Predator Ridge Golf Resort is a public 27-hole golf resort and residential community located in the Okanagan Valley in beautiful British Columbia. This fully operational resort opened in 1991 and is consistently awarded for being the top resort and public facility in BC and Western Canada. Predator Ridge has hosted many tournaments including the Export A Skins Game with Mike Weir, Phil Mickelson, Fred Couples and Sergio Garcia.
In 2002, it was determined that a storage facility was required to keep the electrical carts indoors and protected from the elements. Predator Ridge chose a Cover-All® Legend® building as their facility solution. The pre-engineered, clear-span design allows maximum use of space and the cover allows natural light to flow through illuminating every corner of the building.
"We refer to the Cover-All as our cart barn," explains Brad Burgart, Director of Golf. "At full capacity, we are able to hold 124 power carts inside this facility with every cart having one electric charger." There is also a wash bay located inside where the carts are washed.
The green color selected for the 40' w x 170' l (12.1m x 51.8m) Cover-All® Legend® building blends in well with the surrounding environment at Predator Ridge. Cover-All® buildings can be customized to incorporate not only colors but ventilation, doors and end walls, and foundation options to meet any application.
"The installation of the building went very smooth and it has been maintenance free," states Burgart. The building is semi-permanent and as the resort continues to expand, the building can be easily expanded or relocated. "Our Cover-All is a very good building," says Burgart. "It does exactly what it needs to do – it keeps everything dry and clean."
