When Redekop Manufacturing, an
agricultural manufacturer of field straw chopping equipment, was looking
to expand its business operations, Cover-All® was the logical choice
after researching a number of building options.
“Back in 2003 we realized we needed more space
for storage and testing equipment,” says Gary Redekop, Redekop Manufacturing.
“Wind is a big factor when we are testing equipment; we needed a large area that
would be sheltered from the wind so we could accurately monitor equipment tests
and performance. We looked at a number of different building manufacturers, but
Cover-All was the perfect solution for us.”
The versatility of the structure and the
clear-span space were two factors that impressed Redekop about Cover-All®.
“Within a week the building was installed and we were able to get all of our
machinery in the building without dealing with poles. We can comfortably park
six combines in the building, no problem, says Redekop. “We can also easily add
onto the building in the future if needed.”

Cover-All® buildings are designed in
accordance with the structural requirements of building code and can be
expanded or relocated at any time to suit the changing needs of the
business. To lengthen a Cover-All® TITAN® building is as simple as
removing the end wall and adding additional bays. The building can also
be disassembled and reinstalled in an alternate location if required.
Classifying a Cover-All® building as a temporary structure can also
result in lower taxes.
The unique DuraWeave® membrane cover of a
Cover-All® building allows natural light to penetrate the building, creating a
pleasant year round work environment. There is little need for lights during the
day, which results in lower operating costs. “I love the natural light”, says
Redekop. “Our workers can work in here all day long. It’s always a bright,
naturally lit environment.”
Redekop could not be more pleased with his new
building. “Our machinery and workers are out of the wind and protected from the
extreme winter climate. The building is working great for our R & D tests and
protecting equipment that can cost hundreds of thousands of dollars per unit. I
would definitely buy another Cover-All…in a heartbeat!” Watch Video |
